Sarah E. Morrow is a writer and social media strategist. Originally from Princeton, New Jersey, she travels the world with her family, and currently resides in the Washington, DC area.

Background

Sarah has a master's degree in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers University, where she focused on media studies. She also has a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from Georgetown University's Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, in English and Italian.

She was the recipient of the U.S. Department of State's Family Liaison Office Professional Development Fellowship, which she used to pursue a Master Certificate in Social Media Marketing from Mediabistro.

Social Media Marketing

Sarah has led social media marketing workshops for the coordinators of the American Corners in Serbia and for the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade.

She helped make the U.S. Mission to NATO’s social media a standout in the region, creating content that was popular with followers (even gaining over one million impressions on a tweet) and picked up by embassies across Europe.

Sarah's work has been in numerous publications, including: WholeFoods Magazine, Modern Luxury Media's DC Magazine, and The Suit Magazine.

In addition to ghostwriting blog posts, Sarah was the in-house writer for the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, a guest blogger for the Novak Djokovic Foundation, and has contributed to books Raising Kids in the Foreign Service and A Cup of Culture.
